Microsoft Word Viewer Editor's Review

Word Viewer lets you view, copy and print documents made using Microsoft Word, without having to install Microsoft Word in its entirety. As well as being able to handle Word file types such as docx or docm, it can also tackle documents in other common formats -- TXT and RTF (Text and Rich Text Format), as well as XML and web page formats like HTML.

Pro's: You can read Word documents and print them, or copy and paste from them into other applications.

Con's: You can't edit documents and there's no export feature. To create an editable copy or a copy in a different file type, you have to copy and paste the file's contents into a new document.

Conclusion: Handy if all you want to do is read or print documents. If you want to do more, you might be better off with a free word processor that can read Word formats.
